It’s all been set up by two ex-city workers who are oddly fanatical about DIY, rather than finding it to be a chore like most normal people. When renovating one particular property they found themselves refitting a very small kitchen with materials and services sourced from 15 separate suppliers, that took 27 hours of research on the internet and in showrooms to find - this seemed far too complicated! So instead of continuing with property renovation, they set themselves the task of simplifying it. The result is www.simplifyDIY.com.
