LanHelper can discovery all available machines on your office or home network through a range of IP address, multiple workgroups & domains or the whole LAN. Collect plenty of network information such as IP address, current user, OS, etc. LanHelper can even find a shared folder to be writable, read-only or password protected. The scan results are saved to XML file and so can be used in Microsoft Office, web browser or other software that support XML.

Without installing any server program, you would find the network management is easier by using LanHelper. You can send the Wake-On-LAN commands to power on the machines on LAN or WAN, supports schedule. Shut down or reboot the remote machines on local network, also supports schedule. Schedule task to run on remote computers or list scheduled task on multiple computers. Check whether computers are online or offline, find which computers' names or IP addresses have been modified. LanHelper can even perform many useful operations such as lock computer, capture screen, get system information, kill process and more.

LanHelper monitors the servers & workstations in your network for availability. Once the status changing is detected, network administrator would be notified immediately by e-mail, network message, etc.
