This new website is the creation of Jim Kernodle, owner of JPK Photography in Burlington, NC and his partners, Wayne and Kathi Jacobs, owners of VITA Digital Productions in High Point, NC.

All three of the principals are former wedding videographers who saw the need for a dramatic new approach to wedding resource websites. Traditional wedding resource websites are ’state and vendor category focused” and do not present the needed information in a user-friendly format. The new website, www.weddinglocationtours.com, is designed to be a “bride-centered” website which organizes the needed information in an entirely new way, designed so that brides can have easy access to a complete list of wedding vendors who service specific wedding ceremony and reception sites.

To use the website, brides first select a state for their wedding and then view a series of 3-minute “video tours” of beautiful destination wedding and reception sites. After choosing the perfect site for her wedding, the bride is presented a complete list of resources, from caterers to videographers, who work in that immediate area of the state. No longer do brides have to waste their valuable time contacting wedding vendors to inquire if they serve that site.
Everything a bride needs to plan a destination wedding is found in this website and the information is easy to access!

The 3-minute video “tours” of wedding destination sites are supplied by wedding videographers across the United States (WEVA members). Plans are already underway for additional websites which will feature wedding destination sites in other countries. Partners Jim Kernodle, Kathi and Wayne Jacobs are aggressively developing this new concept in bride-friendly, video-tour websites and see it as their mission to change the method that brides use to access information on the internet.
