THE INDIANAPOLIS SPEEDROME HOSTS FUN AT THE TRACK NIGHT FOR MDA

INDIANAPOLIS, June 30, 2006- “Jerry’s kids” will be cheering on drivers as they race around the track at the Indianapolis Speedrome on Friday, July 7 and Saturday July 8. To coordinate with the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Jerry Lewis stickers will be placed on the cars as they zoom around the track.
Joel Cohen has coordinated this event for MDA for several years and is giving 100 tickets away to “Jerry’s kids.”
The Speedrome race will begin at 7 p.m. on both nights and is located at 802 South Kitley Avenue.
Warren Township firefighters will also be at the event to raise money for the MDA Fill-the-Boot program. All proceeds collected will benefit the people living in the Indianapolis area with neuromuscular diseases.
