Ryan-Biggs Associates Approved as Sponsor Organization for Continuing Education for Professional Engineers in New York State by The Practicing Institute of Engineering

Troy, NY – Ryan-Biggs Associates, P.C., was approved as a Sponsor Organization for Continuing Education for Professional Engineers in New York State by the Practicing Institute of Engineering, Inc (PIE).

Sponsor Membership is for organizations that have the wherewithal to prepare, independently evaluate, present, conduct, and maintain records of training activities in compliance with PIE procedures and the New York State Education Department regulations regarding mandatory continuing education for Professional Engineers in New York State. Mandatory Continuing Professional Competency Legislation was passed in 2002 and became Chapter 146 of the Laws of New York State.

Jack Healy is an Associate and directs the Continuing Education Certification Program at Ryan-Biggs. Healy is a licensed Professional Engineer and has evaluated programs for PIE, the New York State Society of Professional Engineers, and the American Council of Engineering Companies of New York. “RBA has a long history of presenting seminars for educational purposes, and we are looking forward to working with PIE and the New York State Education Department to continue this tradition,” said Healy.
