Online vintage clothing boutique introduces exclusive line of 1950's reproduction swing dresses

Online boutique,Blue Velvet Vintage, now offers their own line of limited edition 1950's reproduction dresses, to complement their distinctive collection of day and evening wear, accessories, lingerie, costume jewelry and textiles from the 1930s to the 1970s. The new line was created for women who enjoy wearing the classic, figure flattering styles of the 50's era, but can't always find them in their size.

"More and more women are tired of the cookie cutter looks being sold in malls across America, so they are turning to stylish clothes from the past as a way to express their individuality," says Theresa Campbell, owner of Blue Velvet Vintage. “50 year old vintage dresses are one of a kind, with the swing style being the most popular. So I decided to offer an alternative in several sizes to give customers more options. The limited edition line of dresses was inspired by actual vintage clothing from my own private collection."

Since authentic 50’s Hawaiian sundresses are very collectible and becoming scarce, she began by recreating two of these styles using vintage inspired prints from Hawaii. She has recently added another halter dress in pink with white polka dots. All dresses are made in the USA and constructed of fine quality 100% cotton. They all have very full skirts, that dancers love for their twirlability!

Only a limited selection of each print is available at any given time, keeping with the one of a kind theme that attracts so many women to authentic vintage clothing.
