Baltimore, MD – ScienStream Technologies, http://www.scienstream.com, San Diego’s leading web, software, and mobile application developers, will be releasing four ground-breaking location-based mobile applications later this year: Blorph, Blassion, InteractBlue, and BlueShoppers. The package of mobile programs will be the first of its kind in the United States.Covering four main social interactions, the Bluetooth-based applications focus on friendly socializing (Blorph), romantic matchmaking (Blassion), business networking (InteractBlue), and shopping (BlueShoppers). Each application will have an accompanying personalized website for maximum social opportunities and organizing of information. Updates to either the mobile phone or website will be in sync. These programs are developed on a platform called Blucate which allows Bluetooth-enabled phone users to interact wirelessly based on their location and profile.
“This technology is revolutionary because it allows users to interact based on their location and preferences in a safe and more natural manner. People are not always in front of a computer, but chances are they always have their cellphone with them. This is a great opportunity to open doors to new types of interactions.” said Simon Singh, CEO of ScienStream.
Blorph and Blassion will be released in August with InteractBlue and BlueShoppers expected to be released by December. The applications will be available on BluCate.com for free.
About the Products
Blorph: When profiles of friends are added, users’ phones will receive an alert whenever they come within 30 feet of a friend (or a friend of a friend) and be able to message and communicate with that person through their mobile device or at a later time through the website.
Blassion: Similar to Blorph, Blassion alerts you of potential matches you come in contact with throughout the day. From there, you can message them to explore the possibility of romantic sparks.
InteractBlue: For users looking to network at a conference or event, enter the criteria of who they need to meet and the right networking match is found as they walk around at an event or down the street.
BlueShoppers: Customers’ mobile phones will alert them when they walk by a store where a discount or coupon is available. Users can use the web interface to obtain coupons and access lists of stores and items.
