Gerard Lee Architects in Jack London Square

Gerard Lee Architects is moving to the thriving waterfront neighborhood of Jack London Square, in Oakland, CA, in an effort to meet the needs of our existing and new clients within the Bay Area and from those located within the thriving Pacific Rim economies. This new facility will have two conference centers, high speed internet access (45Mbps) and the same high quality service we have always provided our clients. While we maybe moving out of the City of Concord of which we are long time residents, we remain just as dedicated to the communities of the East Bay. Our new location provides us with easy freeway access to all the cities and communities of the Bay Area and Northern California. Having easy access to two international airports gives us the ability to reach our clients in far flung regions of the state, country or Asia and the rest of the world.


A brief glimpse into our new neighborhood: Jack London Square is steeped in history and happens to be located next to the bustling Port of Oakland and a particular favorite of both design firms and artist. Along with a ferry service that connects Oakland with the City of San Francisco, it is located centrally within the San Francisco Bay Area. A bustling commercial center with many restaurants, banquet facilities and convention/ meeting facilities, it is connected to the rest of the Bay Area through several freeways like I-880, 980, 580, 80 and 24. BART and Amtrak service Jack London Square and both the Oakland International Airport and SFO are in close proximity. We selected Jack London Square, to be our new home base because of its easy access and business friendly atmosphere.
The neighborhood is undergoing redevelopment and this in many ways reflects our new beginnings and the ongoing changes will reinforce in us the need to “create better communities through sustainable design”.
