An Avalanche of T-shirts

Venice Beach, CA — An avalanche of JJ Fortuenti t-shirts are selling since their introduction in mid-April. Ever since the band “Ferocians” played a gig at the world-famous Baked Potato in Studio City, California, wearing Lit & Lovin’ it! t-shirts emblazoned with JJ Fortuenti, sales have skyrocketed and put the shirts in a slight backorder situation having exceeded all expectations.

“People living free in an unfree world have really fallen in love with JJ,” says Marc Madow, Creative Director of Medicine Bow Gallery.

In spite of the enthusiasm of JJ shirt buyers, there is a backlash against the shirts and the character JJ himself, with a ban against wearing the shirt in effect at several schools. “They won’t be able to get rid of JJ as easily as they smoked Joe Camel” says Madow. “It’s not just young people who are harassed about wearing our shirts. We had a 70-year-old who was told she couldn’t wear hers in the lobby of an assisted living home. Her response was to buy four more as gifts for her friends.”

Lit & Lovin’ it! shirts are created in Venice Beach, California and are selling well in Germany, Holland, and Finland as well as throughout America and Canada. Fans from all over the world can interconnect on a special webpage devoted to JJ Fortuenti on MySpace.com at; www.myspace.com/litandlovinit

Lit & Lovin’ it! T-shirts are currently available in four colors (green, brown, gray, black) and five sizes (S, M, L, XL, 2X) for $17.95 plus shipping.

Besides being an emerging big-time fashionista, JJ is a very cool dude with an attitude. JJ is emerging as a clear voice of reason and sanity about senseless and unjust laws such as those related to medical cannabis and hemp issues. Rumor has it that JJ is currently exploring a run for president.
