Tim Herrera is an author and writer living in Elk Grove, California. He is a graduate of Penn State University, a former radio and television news reporter and the recipient of 14 journalism awards. In 2003, Tim was a runner-up for the Will Rogers Humanitarian Award, presented by the National Society of Newspaper Columnists. He is married and is the father of four children.
