New York Rock Band Almighty Love Noise to Perform at NYC Tsunami Benefit Concert

New York, NY, (NAMC), The New York rock band “Almighty Love Noise” (www.almightylovenoise.com) announced today that they will be a part of the tsunami fundraising event that is hosted by the Michael Packer Blues Band. Almighty Love Noise has already pledged to donate the profits that it receives from the sale of their soon to be released CD, titled “Did I Say That Out Loud?“ , to the American Red Cross through the “Music For Relief” Tsunami Fund (www.musicforrelief.org).“We always try to make ourselves available for events that are geared towards raising funds for the victims of the tsunami disaster. It’s great to see that other music artist like Linkin’ Park, Trust Company, U2, Jay Z, Madonna, Korn and many others have stepped up to the plate to do their part. We plan on being a part of several Tsunami Benefit Concerts, we all have to do our part” said Swan, lead singer of Almighty Love Noise.
Almighty Love Noise was recently featured on Fox News Live, and several other newspapers and television news programs promoting the music industry’s fundraising efforts. Their new CD “Did I Say That Out Loud?” is scheduled to be released on February 1, 2005. They just recently performed with Godfrey Townsend of the Alan Parsons Project and the Queens band Fat Cat Voodoo to help raise funds for the tsunami victims.
The event will be taking place on Sunday Feb.20, 2005 and Monday Feb.21, 2005 at Kenny’s Castaways, located at 157 Bleecker St, in New York City. Both events will begin at 2pm until closing.
Other bands that will be performing for this event include international blues star Michael Hill, Woodstock legends Prof.Louie and the Crowmatix,Latin Blues man Felix Cabrera, Chaz Depaolo of the British blues band the Ground Hogs and New York City’s veteran guitarist Jack O’Hara.
