Wilson Commercial Real Estate Awarded Leasing Contract for Gateway Village in Valencia by RKR Inc. New Center already 80% Pre-Leased

LOS ANGELES, CA – Wilson Commercial Real Estate of Los Angeles, Calif., the largest Landlord representative brokerage firm representing institutional and professional retail property owners on an exclusive basis in the Southern California marketplace, announced it has been awarded the leasing and marketing contract for Gateway Village in Valencia by owner and developer RKR Inc. of Encino, CA.

Gateway Village is a 150,000-square-foot neighborhood center now under construction and slated to open spring 2005, across from Home Depot and the new Wal-Mart. Located at the southwest corner of Newhall Ranch Road and Rye Canyon Road, Gateway Village will feature Tuscany style architecture, lush landscaping and pedestrian walkways.

According to Chris Wilson, President of Wilson Commercial Real Estate, “Gateway Village is currently 80% pre-leased with national and strong regional tenants including a 45,000-square-foot LA Fitness and Smart & Final. Shop tenants include Coffee Bean & Tea, Lindora Weight Loss, Relax The Back, California National Bank, Postal Connections, The Habit, Cingular Wireless and Catch 21.”

Kirnan Commercial of Woodland Hills is assisting in the leasing. Leasing opportunities still exist for an anchor, freestanding pad user and shop space.
