California Air Resources Board Issues Executive Order to Emissions Technology, Inc.—Californians to Save Diesel Fuel

Phoenix, AZ—As fuel prices continue to rise, California regulators are seeking alternatives to reduce fuel consumption and improve air quality. As a result, the state’s air quality regulatory agency, the California Air Resources Board (CARB), recently issued an Executive Order to Emissions Technology, Inc. (ETI) permitting the sale of its patented Combustion Catalyst System (CCS) for use on all off-road diesel equipment in the state.Existing users in the U.S. and elsewhere have experienced fuel savings ranging from 8% to more than 20% depending on their in-use application. In addition, these users have seen significant reductions in black smoke, resulting in a cleaner operating environment.
“Receiving the Executive Order from CARB is a tremendous achievement for our company,” said Gordon Pardy, ETI President. “We’ll now be able to serve the substantial interest we have received from California’s industrial diesel operators who
desperately need our self-financing solution to combat rising diesel fuel prices."
“The CARB action has huge implications for our Industry,” said Gary Rohman, Chair of the San Joaquin District of the Associated General Contractors of California, an AGC Board Member on the Construction Industry Air Quality Coalition, and a principal in ECCO Equipment Corporation, a major heavy construction equipment rental company.
“By adding the Combustion Catalyst System to our off-road diesel-powered engines, we can dramatically improve fuel consumption and reduce particulate matter emissions as well,” he
added.
How it Works: The patented CCS can be configured for any size diesel engine. It is easy to install and works by injecting a proprietary catalytic formula directly into the engine’s air intake. As a result, more fuel is burned in the engine’s power stroke and less in the exhaust stroke. The result: less fuel is consumed to produce the same amount of power, and as CARB’s testing confirmed, without adding harmful emissions to the environment.
The CCS can pay for itself in as little as a few months, depending upon the application.
How to Get it: Proven to reduce fuel consumption and keep air cleaner, CCS is available through a network of independent licensed distributors throughout the world. For more information about the CCS or to find a distributor in your area, please visit www.emissionstech.com.
