Alterbox adds new dimension to mobile messaging by applying SenderPush technology to Voice Communication

SenderPush (www.senderpush.com) was initially made available to senders of urgent emails, to give them control and guarantee over the delivery of their messages, as well as their acknowledgement, independently of their recipients’ whereabouts. Alterbox is now extending its SenderPush technology offering and provides individuals, preferring to leave audio messages as their favourite mean of communication, the option to do so in a different way, simply by making them available via a SMS. The SMS will include a link, giving the recipient on the spot access to the voice message.

SenderPush for Voice is not yet another voicemail system but a completely new way of leaving voice messages. Its function can be compared to the use of SMS, but with the additional advantage of having the messages sounding and being understood the way they were intended. While leaving a voicemail is the consequence of a failed phone conversation for not being able to reach a person live, the use of SenderPush Voice results from one’s specific intention to leave a pre-recorded message, quicker than writing a text message and not requiring any typing exercise. SenderPush Voice messages can be sent from any PC, fixed or mobile phone, and addressed to any WAP enabled ordinary mobile device. They will arrive in the shape of a text message including a link for a direct access to the audio message.

Simply by clicking on the link provided, the recipient will be able to listen to the recorded message without any need to navigate through a voice menu maze found in the traditional voicemail systems. It is important to note that the recipient does not need to be a registered user in order to benefit from the service and can even forward or reply to the received voice message.
