Bennett-Watt Entertainment Receives 2006 Telly Award for Travel Documentary Discoveries…America, Ohio

Issaquah, WA. Bennett-Watt Entertainment has received a Silver Telly Award for its new USA travel and cultural HD television and DVD documentary, Discoveries…America, Ohio. This program is part of Bennett-Watt’s highly acclaimed series of 51 High Definition 60-minute documentaries on each state in the USA, titled Discoveries…America.

The purpose of the series is to provide a fresh look at America in the 21st Century. Filmed entirely in Widescreen Digital High Definition (HD), the series is a traveler’s guide to discovering America of today and the past. The series chronicles history, people, culture, travel and locations unique to each state. Subjects range from cowboys, musicians, historians and artists to casinos, cliff dwellings and space centers. Video essays delve into political history, cultural traditions and lifestyle trends and provide portraits of national parks, monuments and people of interest.

Discoveries…America, Ohio program includes segments on Orville and Wilber Wright, the United States Air Force Museum, Ohio’s farmers markets, barn artists, basket making, fly tying, Amish woodworking, Professional Football Hall of Fame, Wilson Sporting Goods Company and the All American Soapbox Derby.
