Combined US & Canadian ZIP Code Database Available

PROVO, Utah – ZIPCodeDownload.com announced the release of its newest ZIP Code product today – the USA 5-digit & Canadian 6-digit Postal Code Database, Combined Edition. The Combined Edition database bundles the USA 5-digit Commercial Edition database with the Canadian 6-digit Postal Code database and combines the two data sets into one database.

“We anticipate that this product will make the download and integration process more efficient for our customers,” Jennifer Banks, an account representative at the company explained. “Our customers have been requesting a combined edition of our database for quite some time. I’m excited that we are finally able to offer them this solution.”

ZIP Code Download is the preferred data supplier for many Fortune 500 companies, and its data and programming tools appear on thousands of websites on the Internet. The Commercial Editions of the databases are commonly used with the Distance and Radius Programming APIs to create applications which calculate the distance between two ZIP Codes or return all the ZIP Codes in a given radius.

Along with a complete list of the US and Canadian Postal Codes, the Combined Edition includes cities, counties, states/provinces, area codes, time zones, statistical codes, and latitude/longitude coordinates. The raw data is available for download as an Access file, along with CSV, tab-delimited, and fixed-width formats.
