2005 was a busy year for Doe and Upset Records. Last year Upset Records released six albums nation wide thro their distributor City Hall Records, all while touring recording and promoting. Doe who is Owner, Recording Artist and Producer for Upset Records has recently fell victim to the Colorado Judicial System. On April 17th 2006 Doe was sentenced to 7 years in the Colorado Department of Corrections for violation of probation that was associated with a 1998 conviction. Doe was originally sentenced to 18 months work release, and 5 years probation. On February 3rd Doe was performing at a concert in Lawrence, Kansas and had left the state with out receiving permission from his Probation Officer. Doe’s Probation was revoked and he was arrested for probation violation, his bond was set at $100,000.00. While out on bond Doe recorded 4 new songs and finished up albums recorded by Upset Recording Artist ‘Sneaky Boy’ and ‘Von Loak’ set to release winter of 2007. Those albums will be followed up by; Does new albums ‘Colorado All-Star’ and ‘Midwest Hustler’, along with the Upset Records Mix Tape featuring all artists from Upset Records. His attorneys are actively filing motions and reconsideration and we are confident that he will be back in the studio soon. We will keep you posted on this as well as release dates for the new albums.
