@Mail leaps ahead of the pack….. again.

Australian software development team, CalaCode, has released version 4.4 of @Mail, a premium suite of mailserver software united by Perl. Proudly displaying their new "AJAX" webmail interface, the @Mail development team doesn't hesitate to set the record straight: "We were ahead of the game in '98, and we're still ahead of the curve. For Universities, ISP's, and government organizations who need to host their mailserver in-house or at a secure facility, and to have their security personnel audit the source code, @Mail continues to deliver," says Sales VP Corey Bissaillon.
Boasting a dizzying array of administrative features as well as the numerous interface enhancements, @Mail 4.4 comes out swinging. On the backend, an unprecendented level of daemon control is afforded the savvy administrator via the web-based administration section (WebAdmin). Graphical statistics and diagnostic utilities are provided. SMTP load queue controls are provided. On the frontend, the smoothness of the new "Simple (AJAX)" interface is unrivaled even by the much-heralded Gmail. In the "Advanced " interface, AJAX saves the day again, allowing the developers to include an oft-requested free/busy feature in the scheduler component.
"We owe alot of @Mail's success to the feedback of our customers. Our clients suggest new features and constantly teach us new things about expected behavior and UI design. They don't let us get away with anything." jokes Bissaillon, showing off the new inline spell-check feature and switching layout types without logging out.
Synchronization with Outlook? No problem. What about sync-ing my distribution lists? No problem. Will @Mail work in a clustered environment? Yes. Is there a hardware appliance available that runs @Mail? Yes. Will it catch viruses and filter spam? Yes. Can I migrate users and email from my outdated mailserver? No problem. Or as they say down under: No worries.
