Industry Expert Manny Gagliardi Joins Clearview Staffing Software to Spearhead Development of TSS: Advanced Travel

Dallas, TX – Manny Gagliardi, a veteran and expert in the travel nurse staffing industry, has joined Clearview Staffing Software to help the company achieve its goal of producing the premier tool for recruiting, placing and tracking travel nurses.

As the company’s Vice President of Product Development, Gagliardi will lead the team responsible for developing, producing and launching TSS: Advance Travel, Clearview’s new product designed specifically for the travel nurse staffing industry.

The partnership between Gagliardi and Clearview presents an opportunity to provide healthcare staffing companies with a solution to the long-standing problems specific to travel nurse staffing. Gagliardi said throughout his career he has seen the same issues across many different companies – and upon joining Clearview had not yet found an adequate solution to those problems.

“No one has been able to get it right,” Gagliardi said of previous attempts to create an automated software solution for the travel nurse staffing industry. “Joining Clearview is an opportunity to build something the industry has truly needed and wanted for a long time.”

Inherent in the business of travel nurse staffing is the problem of tracking a myriad of variables in terms of expenses and payroll, as well as recruiting and managing candidates from all over the country.

“Most companies have two separate solutions – contact manager software for tracking candidates and accounting software for payroll and expense tracking,” Gagliardi said. He added that TSS: Advanced Travel brings the two ends of the business together through its order entry and tracking system.

“Everything starts with the intake of an order – and the order functionality in TSS: Advanced Travel is already very strong,” Gagliardi said, adding that the more important aspect of travel nurse staffing is the successful recruiting of qualified, credentialed candidates.

Gagliardi, who has over fifteen years experience in the industry, will focus on the recruiting end of the software. He will help Clearview develop a product that will make it easier for recruiters to find the right candidate and make the right match up front. Gagliardi said this is a crucial element in the travel nurse staffing business.

“With Travel, more interaction takes place between the client and the nurse,” Gagliardi said. “There is an interview process and many details that all need to be tracked carefully in order to make a strong match up front.” He added that this is important because, unlike the more widespread Per Diem healthcare staffing industry, Travel carries a number of additional costs that could result in a negative impact on revenue for the staffing agency should anything go wrong with the placement.

Gagliardi, who began his career in Dallas, Texas, is excited about this opportunity, calling it the end of a career-long “quest” to develop an automated travel nurse staffing solution.

“My goal,” Gagliardi said, “is to help Clearview develop the premier travel software package in the industry - one that understands the operational workflow and that provides the recruiting, order management and financial management features necessary to run a successful Travel staffing business.”

A select handful of Clearview’s over 180 clients are already using an early release of TSS: Advanced Travel on live work – and other customers are waiting in line to put the software to the test.
