Miami, FL June 1, 2006- Soulfrito.net launches a new online portal website, which will allow the public greater access to current events and dynamic new features that are user friendly.

The new website will consist of video content including artist interviews, behind the scenes footage at Soulfrito Events, music videos, specialty vignettes and much more. The portal will also include the latest in cultural and entertainment news as well as industry updates, forums, polls and a look at the Urban Latin arts & fashion scene. Content will be available to members through video & radio pod cast downloads specially created for Soulfrito members. The portal will also feature constant updated photo galleries of events as well as contests and exclusive discounts. Soulfrito will feature a new on-line store for people to purchase the latest music, themed merchandise, and other hot items. Members will also be able to voice their opinion on cultural, political issues and address topics in the Soulfrito vignettes through our forums.

The Soulfrito Music Festival has been a resource for breaking music artists such as Miami’s own PitBull and new group The Dey before they were signed giving them an opportunity to perform live in front of thousands. One of the main features on the website will allow the public to influence upcoming events and artist selection by voting on the main acts and up and coming, unsigned artists for the Soulfrito Music Festival. Artist will have the chance to feature their bios, music and pictures online for consideration of this top honor.

Soulfrito will also offer a VIP membership program; incentives include invitations to exclusive events, discounted tickets to concerts/festivals, free downloads, exclusive offers from Soulfrito sponsors and much more.

A percentage of the proceeds from the membership program will go towards the Soulfrito Arts Foundation which gives new and established artists in a variety of genres the opportunity to showcase their works to the masses.
