Fine Wine Storage Company, Iron Gate Cellarage Inc. Acquires Urban Cellars Inc.

Iron Gate Cellarage Inc., Toronto’s premier fine wine storage facility, is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement to purchase all of the business operations and assets of Urban Cellars Inc.. Under the terms of the agreement, Iron Gate Cellarage will continue to provide white glove service to the customer base that Urban Cellars has been proud to serve since 2002.“We’re very excited about this opportunity and are looking forward to meeting all of the Urban Cellars’ customers over the coming weeks” said Warren Porter, President of Iron Gate Cellarage Inc. “Chris and his team at Urban Cellars have done a fabulous job serving the wine community and we’re pleased to be able to continue with that level of service and add even more.”

In addition to providing perfect conditions for collectors to store their wine, Iron Gate Cellarage offers services that include complete cellar relocation, packaging, full inventory and inventory systems installation, appraisal, maturity targeting, digital photography and insurance consultation. “It’s amazing how many collectors need assistance with their wine to ensure it’s properly managed, priced and consumed at its peak. We provide this comprehensive level of service to our customers and are anxious to make this available to our new Urban Cellars customers as well”, said Porter.
