OWNER/OPERATOR OF SOLUTIONS-BY-SCOTT TO SUPPORT INDUSTRY’S MESSAGE AND EDUCATIONWashington, DC – (May 25, 2006) – The National Organization of Professional Organizers (NAPO), Washington, D.C. Chapter elected as its president Scott Roewer on March 6, 2006. The Washington, DC-Metro Chapter of NAPO serves Washington, DC, Virginia, and Maryland. Mr. Roewer is the owner and operator of Solutions-by-Scott, a professional organization firm located in the District (www.solutions-by-scott.com).
Scott Roewer formerly represented the chapter as director of communications and technology and is a member of the board of directors. He will serve a one-year term, and his responsibilities will include increasing awareness and education for the profession, membership recruitment, and establishing membership standards that best serve its members and the public.
“I am pleased to be in such an important position within such an important organization.” Mr. Roewer stated, “There is some confusion about professional organization, and we will identify opportunities to communicate what we do and how we assist our clients. Among other things, we help clients get their lives and their time back. Very few professions in America can promise that.”
