The Scandinavian Journal of Educational Research, is celebrating it’s 50th Anniversary year of publication with Routledge. To mark the occasion, Routledge have published a Special Anniversary Issue, Volume 50 Issue 3 – ‘Is There a Nordic School Model?’ For further information, visit the dedicated home page, at http://www.tandf.co.uk/journals/spissue/csje-si.asp.
Papers include:
In Search of the Nordic Model in Education
Ari Antikainen

Anne-Lise Arnesen and Lisbeth Lundahl
Assessment Theory and Practice of Students' Outcomes in the Nordic Countries
Anders Lysne
The Scandinavian Journal of Educational Research differs from other educational research journals—and so it has for many years. What makes it special as a research journal is that it has not defined a narrow, restrictive educational field as the arena for its publication. On the contrary, the journal welcomes articles from all fields relevant to education and has no preferences concerning the author’s methodological choices, except quality.
