Annatarian Eco-ture Fashion Show at Trellis Floral Couture

Los Angeles, CA (PRLEAP) May 29, 2006 — Angelenos know a thing or two about fashion. They also know a few things about the environment, which explains why so many SoCal residents drive a Prius, are avid hikers, and make themselves aware of eco-conscious products.On June 3rd, Annatarian hosts a fashion show and custom-design event showcasing her one of a kind eco fashions as well as a silent auction benefiting Stop Global Warming. LA’s most sought after vegan gourmet restaurant, Madeleine Bistro, and organic teahouse, Zen Zoo Tea, will be the afternoon’s fare. About Annatarian:

Annatarian is a nature-friendly couture line created by Anna Mkhitarian, whose eco – and fashion – conscious designs were featured in “The Future Is Green” at the Museum of Natural History last October, as well as Sundance 2006. Made from vintage and recycled fabrics, Annatarian dresses range from 1940’s-inspired kimonos to vintage 60’s muumuus to 80’s rayon silhouettes. The newest organic fabrics are hand-painted and hand-dyed by the designer herself, which goes to show how aware Anna is of every color, cut, and fiber in the collection.
