MasterCard and Visa in Nigeria?
May 20, 2006 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
Abuja, Nigeria – the recent launch of the Visa brand campaign in Nigeria, on the heels of the MasterCard brand campaign a while ago, may come as a surprise to people who are used to the “fraud” tag associated with all things Nigerian. Why would two companies with products most at risk from fraud go into a supposed “fraud haven”? Surely, the Nigerian market is as fraudulent as we believe.
Well, is it?
Obinali Egele CEO of Marketsandinvestments.com does not think so. “The problem is that most businesses do not have access to business intelligence on Nigeria, and as a result, they are missing out on the vast opportunities in Africa’s most populous market”.
To tackle this, Marketsandinvestments.com, an online Business Research Analysis and Intelligence Network (an online BRAIN) has launched a service to provide authoritative business intelligence on Nigeria. “Clients simply tell us the business intelligence they require, and we task our BRAIN to provide it,” says Obinali.
The service covers data gathering, primary and secondary research, market analysis, market entry strategies and prospective partner verification services, and caters for all sizes of businesses and organisations.
The service is available online at http://www.marketsandinvestments.com
