The company has confirmed that more details on the inner workings of the game, which was first previeweda at London’s ICEi exhibition and subsequently signed up by British iTV betting channel SkyBet, will be demonstrated at the forthcoming GIGSE (Stand #217) taking place in Montreal, Canada on May 16-18.Smart-Stitch underpins the whole concept of Fantastic League. Once betting has closed and the Random Number Generator (RNG) determined all event outcomes based on fixed odds, Smart-Stitch kicks in to reverse engineer the game; in the case of GexTech’s latest Fantastic League football release, a contest where no two matches will ever be the same. Smart-Stitch creates a script to arrive at set outcomes (e.g. goal, foul, penalty, miss, dismissal, offside, throw-in, corner kick, etc.) at given times and randomly generates video rendering for each of the 22 objects (players) to arrive at each scenario, incorporating team tactics and multi-dimensional situations along the way. Fantastic League’s versatility allows Smart-Stitch to not only generate wholly random play but also to integrate pre-prepared sequences mimicking, for example, famous sporting moments from history. Smart-Stitch promotes in-game reality, building customer buy-in and increasing operator’s revenues.
Gextech CEO, Mark Campbell commented: “Many industry professionals are already aware that we have developed a revolutionary football betting game featuring superb graphics, but in Fantastic League what we actually have is a brand in waiting. Our unique Smart-Stitch technology, the pivotal piece of software linking RNG and animated sequences that constitute game play, is not only the fundamental driver behind the success of the football-themed program, but also provides unlimited scope for Fantastic League to breed a whole host of virtual team sports, races and competitions.”
GIGSE will also serve as the launch pad for no fewer than six Gextech mobile games including Fantastic League Penalty Shootout, featuring high resolution renders derived from the company’s Fantastic League football product (an on-stand competition will see the international i-gaming industry’s best spot-kicker walk away from Montreal with a new video iPod). Other new Gextech mobile unveilings comprise Vampire Scratch and Pixy Circus (scratchcard), Treasure Cash (promo game) and two casino-based offerings in Roulette and Blackjack.
