League of Women Voters Group Forming Sarpy County Women Have a Choice

May 17, 2006-Bellevue Nebraska: Sarpy County women now have a way to stay informed and assist in helping democracy work for all citizens in Sarpy County and Nebraska. The first organizational meeting of the proposed Sarpy County chapter of the League of Women Voters will be on Thursday, June 1, 2006 at 11:30 a.m. at the Garden Café, 1811 Hillcrest Drive, Bellevue Nebraska. All interested parties, men and women, are encouraged to attend to learn more. Reservations can be made by contacting Carol Blood at (402) 517-1446 or by email at reservations@urpr.biz. There will be a $10.00 charge for the luncheon buffet. Reservations may pay at the door, however, all no shows will be billed. Speakers from the Nebraska LWV Board of Directors will be the featured speakers.
