Abbeynet Launches Abbeyphone VOW

CAGLIARI, ITALY –Abbeynet, a leading developer of Voice over Web (VOW), mobile VoIP, Instant Messaging and Presence Server technology, announced today the launch of Abbeyphone VOW (VOW - Voice over Web), a customizable platform that supplies communication services pervasively integrated into a Web-based environment. Abbeyphone VOW is best suited for news portals and online communities, in particular for Web 2.0 companies, for groups that operate in the field of media communication, e-commerce portals, ISP, ITSPs and telecom companies; it will allow them to offer their users a suite of advanced internet based communication services with 30 days time-to-market. Moreover, Abbeyphone VOW is based on a hosted model. All that is needed to communicate is on the Abbeynet server farms: users and partners do not need to worry about maintenance, updates, release issues and the other common concerns that normally arise on a managed-mode provisioning.
