Praesentia is an application server available for IP and Web applications that provides presence services to several different kinds of users. An innovative solution that receives, correlates, aggregates and broadcasts a configurable, advanced set of informations suitable for new value-added services.

With Praesentia a wide range of event-based services can be easily implemented, such as: geo positioning based services, emergency services, road traffic assessment and management, personalized alerts, real time resource sharing among groups or communities, production systems – personnel locating services. Users can interact with Praesentia in order to show their status, retrieve the status information of their contacts, manage multimedia sessions, set visibility rules and subscribe to specific event-based services.

Prasentia is designed to work in two context: as a Core element for IMS networks and as a Web Service on Hosted Platforms.
