Janice Bryant Howroyd Named
2006 Enterprising Women Hall Of Fame Inductee

NEW YORK – Marsha Firestone, president of the Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO), has announced that WPO advisory board member Janice Bryant Howroyd, president and CEO of Act-1 Group, the largest woman-owned, minority-owned staffing company in the country, will be inducted into the 2006 Enterprising Women Hall of Fame. The Enterprising Women Hall of Fame is dedicated to the country's finest women entrepreneurs and their remarkable success. The elite inductees are also recognized as leaders who have had a profound impact on their community as well as the nation.

Howroyd has built her multimillion-dollar company by staying true to her beliefs as she successfully runs one of the largest privately-held companies in the world. She has crafted ACT-1 into an internationally recognized firm and continues to focus much of her energy on giving back to her employees, customers and community.
