Kerrigan who stands 6 feet tall, is an avid athlete and wears a size 11 shoe. “Try walking into any designer shoe store and finding a beautiful shoe in a size 12. She adds that “Most of my girlfriends from college basketball are 6’ or taller. We were able to wear our basketball shoes or flip flops while on the road. We are now part of a new generation of very tall women who want to look, and feel, elegant – “Elegance Reborn”. We now are businesswomen, trendsetters and mothers. When we go out, we want wear elegant, flirty designer shoes in our sizes - 11, 12 and 13.”

Most shoe retailers and designers have not kept pace with the demand for elegant shoes in larger sizes. By simply stocking more large sizes, retailers could boost their annual revenue and embrace an emerging market.
