Red Cross Partners with eWinnerGolf.com for Disaster Readiness

Valencia, CA – The American Red Cross of Greater Los Angeles is proud to announce the terms of a new partnership with eWinnerGolf.com. Ethan Winner, owner of Pro Golf of Valencia and eWinnerGolf.com and who also serves on the local service council, made the decision to donate 5% of all eWinnerGolf.com’s online sales to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.

In December of 2005, Winner launched his online business, introducing eWinnerGolf.com to the national market, and decided to approach the Red Cross with a constructive mechanism for benefiting both parties. “After becoming personally involved with the Red Cross and accepting a position on the Santa Clarita Service Council, I felt there was more we could do to help the families affected by the nearly 500 disasters a year in the Los Angeles area” said Winner. In addition to the online donations, which will run in perpetuity, the website features links to the American Red Cross, both local and National.

Ethan and his wife Olivia, owners of Pro Golf of Valencia, have made prior contributions to Red Cross relief efforts. Following the devastation wrought by the South Asia Tsunami, the Winners donated 5% of all their in-store sales for an entire month. The positive feedback from the Tsunami promotion inspired Ethan to again partner with the American Red Cross. “In the future, I would like to see other local businesses partnering with their local Red Cross” said Winner. “I can envision a time when there is a national movement of coalitions between the Red Cross and supporting businesses” he added.
