DanceSF is offering classes every day during the month of May. Classes are available for all levels of salsa dancers, even those who have never stepped on the floor before. "Salsa dancing is a great way to get in shape because if you’re having a good time dancing, you won’t even notice that you’re exercising," said Evan Margolin, president and lead instructor at DanceSF. "Everyone has a little bit of salsa in them; it’s our job to find it and make you fall in love with dance."
DanceSF is the top salsa dance studio in the San Francisco Bay Area. Learn to salsa from some of the top instructors in the business at one of the most popular studios anywhere.
"We teach up to 200 couples a week how to salsa," Margolin said. "We live to share our love of salsa with everyone who is interested in learning more about this spicy, sexy dance."
DanceSF’s May classes feature:
• A full slate of classes for beginners, intermediate and advanced dancers.
• Instruction by some of the best teachers in the area, even if you have no experience and no partner.
• Four-week sessions that give you all the highlights, so you can learn to salsa quickly.
• Drop-ins are always welcome if you don’t have time to commit to a regularly scheduled class.
• Locations throughout the Bay Area, so you can take classes wherever and whenever it is convenient for you. DanceSF has locations in the North Bay, South Bay, East Bay, Silicon Valley and the Peninsula, so there’s no excuse not to join in the fun.
"People are sometimes nervous about learning to salsa in front of a group of strangers," Margolin said, "but our instructors are the best in the business. They make it easy and fun to learn to salsa. You’ll have such a good time that those strangers will probably become friends in no time."
Four-week sessions cost just $50 for a whole month of salsa lessons. Drop-in classes cost $15 each.
New for May, DanceSF is also offering a beginning tango dance class on Wednesdays at Fitness West in South San Francisco. This four-week course will teach dancers the basics of the Argentine tango, one of the sexiest dances on earth.
"Tango is a great addition for us because it is a lot like salsa," Margolin said. "They are both really sexy, fun dances that anyone can do. There’s a lot of individuality in these dances so that people can show off their sensuality and style. Whether you want to learn to salsa or tango, DanceSF has got you covered."
DanceSF is just one of the ways Margolin spreads his love of salsa to the world. His SalsaCrazy.com website offers a comprehensive listing of salsa classes, events and news in the San Francisco area, and his Learn to Dance DVDs (http://www.SalsaDanceDVD.com) help all those who can’t make it to a class learn to salsa with ease.
