Jetmobile announces “BarDIMM Box” for SAP R/3 barcode printing

Paris France, May 4, 2006 (PRLEAP.COM) — ERP barcodes market leader Jetmobile (formerly known as JetCAPS Labs) announced today the launch of BarDIMM™ Box, a USB and LAN print server & network bridge with “BarDIMM Inside” technology adding the BarDIMM barcode printing language to all PCL5 laser printers and multi-function devices. The product removes the need for dedicated barcode printers, is plug&play with SAP R/3 and also has flash memory on board for additional data storage.

With more than 115,000 units sold, native interfaces from many ERPs such as SAP R/3 and drivers for most OS from Windows to Unix, BarDIMM is the leading barcode printing solution for hp PCL5 laser and inkjet printers. BarDIMM Box now allows to add the BarDIMM language to hp printers that did not support the BarDIMM memory module, and to non-hp PCL5 printers. This will provide the best solution to customers who have a mix of Hewlett Packard & non-HP devices. BarDIMM Box is a small box that attaches to one PCL5 printer through USB or LAN. It receives PCL5 data streams including BarDIMM language commands and releases them in full PCL5 language, usable by any PCL5 compatible printer.

BarDIMM Box fulfills the growing demand for intelligent 1D and 2D barcoding within SMEs and larger corporates. It is printer independent and enables users to easily generate all kind of barcodes across PCL5 printers or MFPs and can be used from ERPs, most Windows applications, mini computers and mainframes in SCS mode.
