Stellar Information has launched an improved version of its Outlook repair and recovery software called Stellar Phoenix Mailbox Professional. This new generation software surpasses its predecessor as well as other software of its kind, with its USP being an advanced engine which greatly enhances the speed of recovery. But its not just speed which sets this software apart – the new version has many added features, apart from the additional capability to work with Outlook 2003.Stellar Phoenix Mailbox Professional is primarily a PST repair and recovery software designed to work with all versions of MS Outlook. Outlook stores usable information, such as e-mail messages, contacts, notes, and folders, in a local file with a PST extension. This Outlook recovery software scans the damaged PST file and stores all recovered information in a new usable PST file, thus enabling Outlook recovery. The software also recovers messages which have even been emptied from the Deleted Items folder.
The new version of Stellar Phoenix Mailbox Professional has also solved the common 2 GB size limit problem – since all Outlook versions apart from Outlook 2003, have a file size limit (approximately 1.8 GB), recovery of Outlook files greater than 2 GB posed a problem. However, developers at Stellar worked towards this problem with the result that the new software can now recover PST files greater than 2 GB in size. Additionally, new features in the software include:
Unique profiles for individual PST files
Support for Best Encryption during PST recovery
Recovery of each and every field of Outlook objects such as Calendar, Contacts, Notes, & Task Items
Simultaneous recovery of multiple PST files
The new edition of the software has also solved the Exception Error bug that used to crop up in the older version during PST recovery.

Speaking at the launch of the updated product, Mr. Sunil Chandna, CEO of Stellar Informations, spoke about how “there is extreme confidence in the Stellar camp regarding this product - all previous bugs have been fixed, the software engine has been streamlined, and with support for Outlook 2003, this software is a one-stop shop for any MS Outlook problems”. The product is competitively priced at US$129 (€ 98) to US$299 (€ 227), depending on the license purchased.
