Volume of photos taken more than tripled
While consumers took an average of 150 photos per year when using analogue cameras, digital camera users are releasing the shutter more than three times as often as the conventional amateur photographer, taking about 470 photos on average. According to FotoInsight, most digital photographers view and select their photos on a home computer. All those digital photos languishing on hard drives could finally see the light of day with the time-saving innovation.
