Palestinian Democracy In Action Luncheon briefing in Washington DC to discuss the results of the election.

The American Task Force on Palestine has two members being sent as part of the official U.S. delegation to monitor the Palestinian Presidential elections on January 9, 2005. Dr. Ziad Asali and George Salem will conduct a luncheon briefing at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace on Tuesday January 11, 2004.

They will have just returned from monitoring the elections where they will have conducted extensive meetings with officials, legislators, academics, and journalists. They will brief attendees on the Palestinian elections, preliminary results and prospects for the future.
