Black Business Circle KID's stars in a short play – "The Bus Boycott,' A Tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.Brooklyn, New York - Black Business Circle KID's youth empowerment program will be presenting a short play – "The Bus Boycott' A Tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The Play is directed by Lisa Washington, conceived by Regina Powell and Donald Wooten, Roger Simple – Assistant Director, and Sara Gordon – Stage Manager.
The play will be held on Monday, January 17, 2005 from 12:45 P.M. (prompt) doors open at 12:30 P.M. at the Greater Bright Light Baptist Church 1320 Sutter Avenue Brooklyn, New York. Free Admission! Friends and Neighbors are Welcome. The play will be featuring Black Business Circle KID's, Delanci and Bianca.
DELANCI stars in her acting debut as "Rosa Parks' in The Bus Boycott. She is a founding member of Black Business Circle KID's youth empowerment program, where she learns modern dance, sells newspapers, learns cash management skills, practices run-way modeling and makes regular visits to the library.
BIANCA stars in her acting debut role as a "Civil Rights Protester' in The Bus Boycott. She is also a founding member of Black Business Circle KID's youth empowerment program. She loves to practice run-way modeling and has a natural flair for the stage.
Last year both made their modeling debuts at a fashion show given by Louis H. Pink Senior Center and Sylvia Brown. They literally stole the show and were called back on stage for an encore. They received so much love. Both began modeling at family gatherings. Bianca has been modeling for a year and Delanci has been modeling since she was 2 years old.
