HARLAND GRAY CHOSEN AS WORLD’S TOP CLUB FITTER

For Immediate Release…Santa Fe Springs, CA…With only six months as a full-time Club Fitter and Club Maker, Harland Gray has been recognized as one of KZG’s “World’s Top 100 Club Makers” making him one of thirteen honorees on the West Coast.

“Being a Club Fitter and Club Maker comes natural to me,” said Gray.

To receive this prestigious award, Gray submitted five essay questions, which demonstrated his club making ability, his understanding of matching design to each client, his understanding the business aspect of club making, and his philosophy of the game.

“It feels great to be recognized by your peers,” says Gray. “It is like a business card or union card, it gets you in the door and I’ll have more opportunities to show what I can do.”

Gray began club making as a hobby 10 years ago, creating custom clubs for his family and friends from a shop in his home. In July 2005, Gray decided to pursue club making full-time. He is currently Master Club Fitter and GCA Accredited Advanced Club Maker (Golf Clubmakers Association) at Golf Excellence International in Santa Fe Springs.

KZG created a panel of independent industry insiders and equipment experts to select the most skilled club makers around the world. The Top 100 Club Fitters Awards is just one of several ways KZG is working to raise awareness of the importance of true custom-fitting when it comes to golf equipment.
