C.A.R.E., LLC, the Marshfield based elder agency, has named Mary Ann Nee as Care Manager

DATELINE: BRAINTREE AND MARSHFIELD, MA…Mary Ann Nee, LCSW, a Braintree resident, has recently been named Care Manager at C.A.R.E., LLC, Consultation, Advocacy and Resources for Elders. C.A.R.E., LLC provides geriatric care management to elders and their families throughout the South Shore and upper Cape Cod and is headquartered in Marshfield, Mass.

Mary Ann Nee, LCSW, brings extensive experience and knowledge of resources to C.A.R.E., LLC. In her role as Care Manager, Ms. Nee will oversee elder clients’ care, ensuring their complex, practical needs are met for optimal quality of life. Her responsibilities include screening, arranging and monitoring in-home help and other services for elders as well as providing crisis intervention and acting as a liaison for families who live far away. Ms. Nee will cater to clients in the Milton, Quincy, Braintree, Weymouth and Hingham areas.

Most recently, Ms. Nee served as a Protective Case Manager for South Shore Elder Services in Braintree. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from University of Massachusetts, Boston as well as a Master’s degree from Wheelock College and is a licensed social worker.

“Mary Ann has a deep knowledge base and a compassionate heart, which are two traits we see as essential in professional care management with elders.
