Pegasus InfoCorp continues on its long term relationship with Rupali, UK

This week Pegasus InfoCorp (www.pegasusinfocorp.com) delivered on the completely new Rupali software and website (www.rupalionline.com) for their March 2006 catalogue. This continues to build on our long term relationship with Rupali (a part of Veema UK Ltd.). With this site, Pegasus InfoCorp has delivered on four completely different sites and software versions for Rupali - in October 2004, March 2005, October 2005 and March 2006. The new software and site features the latest innovations in mail order and ERP software and high end eCommerce shopping sites. The software is currently used by approx. 50 operators in the UK call center. It is built to support several hundreds of call center operators in the UK and offshore in the Indian call center. The site caters to over 100,000 page views every day, and has inbuilt synchronization with the software for orders, products, stock and other key site parameters.

Over the years, Pegasus InfoCorp has built the complete offline inventory, warehousing and mail order systems for Rupali. The project had started with an in-depth onsite requirement analysis of the processes and infrastructure at Rupali and consultancy on hardware upgrades as required. This software now includes the development of their bar coding system, post coding system, integration with courier companies, integration with an offline payment gateway provider, synchronization of their UK warehouse with the online system, data migration from their existing systems to the new software and detailed and very flexible user level permissions. This .NET software is built on a highly optimized data structure and extensively uses stored procedures for fast access to a database containing more than 27 million records. There has also been an extensive usage of XML Web-services using SOAP for synchronization between the website and the software, extensive usage of Crystal Reports .NET for reporting and 128 bit encryption for all sensitive information like credit card numbers etc.

With this latest March 06 site and software, the Rupali brand continues to grow exponentially as the largest clothing store for Asians in the UK - with the product range now spanning 6000 products!
