ABOUT RAISTALLA

RAISTALLA’s fashion sense, stage and camera presence, declare anything goes. Her songs are not just catchy and fun, but full of worthwhile messages about independence and tolerance. RAISTALLA found herself writing her own songs, and before long, her electro-funk style began to emerge. This soulfully-allusive songstress intertwines her vocals over an eclectic spectrum of melodies from energetic funk-pulsating beats to smooth, piano-infused hip-hop; each song finding a different pulse in the soul. Her philosophy is simple: "Music isn't about how you should feel; it's about being natural, without boundaries and just following your instincts."

At the age of 23, and with a whirlwind of experience, RAISTALLA is ready to take on her own spotlight and release her first self-titled debut album “RAISTALLA.” The 11-track album, due for release in summer 2006, will highlight her unique style and diverse musical taste. With producer Kaz Gamble lending his talent to the project, RAISTALLA sees her debut album as a coming of age record, a testimony to her recent growth and self-exploration.
