Piano Lady is Ruth Ann Galatas, a former Louisiana Peach Queen and Miss Louisiana finalist and co-founder of the Music Business Degree Program at Miami Dade College. Galatas, who pursued her doctorate at the University of Miami, excelled in classical music master classes while in school but wins praise from major players in pop music with the release of My Favorite Things.
“Ruth Ann has created a timeless record,” raves Randy Jackson, American Idol judge.
