Hatteras Press Moves To Larger, New Facility Due To Customer-Driven Expansion

TINTON FALLS, NJ – April 10, 2006 - Hatteras Press, a full-service, fully-integrated graphic communications company, recently moved its headquarters to a new 85,000- square-foot facility at 56 Park Road in Tinton Falls, New Jersey.

The move enables the company to combine its state-of-the-art printing, direct mail, fulfillment and administrative operations under one roof. “This is a customer-driven expansion,” says Hatteras Press President Charles Duerr. “Throughout the years we’ve grown steadily by listening carefully to our customers and providing them with full-scope of quality services they need to succeed in an increasingly competitive business environment.”

Hatteras Press’ need for a new facility became apparent a few years ago, but it took several years to find the right location. “It was worth the wait,” explains Duerr. “We were not only able to integrate all printing, finishing, direct mail and fulfillment under one roof, we were able to stay in Monmouth County, where most of our employees live.”

Thanks to the new facility, Hatteras Press customers will benefit from enhanced automation, immediate efficiencies and, ultimately, greater value. The additional square footage also gave Hatteras ample room to install new equipment, including the following:

• A Heidelberg six-color 40" perfecting press for long-run, two-sided press runs in one pass.

• A Kodak NexPress 2100 for true, high-end, five-color digital printing (variable data printing), and print-on-demand ability.

• Two new Kodak Digimaster E125s have been added for enhanced one- color/black, high-speed, variable data printing capabilities.

The facility has been updated to reflect the Hatteras brand by incorporating the custom colors of the Hatteras corporate palette and retaining the firm’s nautical theme throughout. “Our corporate identity is strongly linked to the Jersey Shore,” commented Duerr, an avid big game sportfisherman.

The new Hatteras Press headquarters is located within 2 minutes of the Garden
State Parkway, Exit 105, in the heart of Monmouth County and is 45
minutes from New York City and 80 miles from downtown Philadelphia.
