Austin, TX April 6, 2006 – On February 1st, 2006 YourBlinds.com opened a physical store in Austin, Texas. This new Showroom marries the competence of face-to-face seasoned professionals with the convenience of browsing products online and shopping at an affordable price.

Linda Lee, YourBlinds.com’s CEO, said "We looked at the number of local people asking to come in and touch and feel the products. They wanted to experience what it might be like to have the blinds they sought, in their own home. The physical store allows our local customers to “try before they buy”…in a sense. Of course, they still have the convenience of placing their order online if they chose to. We are here to give them the confidence they need to succeed.”

Customers can choose from either doing the project themselves or having YourBlinds.com take control of the window covering buying experience with professional measuring and installation as most local retailers offer. Lee adds, “We do as much or as little as our customer wants, at prices they can afford.”

YourBlinds.com’s new physical store location is conveniently located at the northeast corner of 183 (Research Blvd) and Pond Springs, across from the Red Barn Garden Center and approximately 3 miles north of the Arboretum, an upscale shopping district in Austin, Texas.
