Stockton Infrared Announces The Appointment Of Michael Hall As The Manager of IT & Graphic DesignStockton Infrared Thermographic Services, Inc. (SITS), one of the USA’s leading providers of infrared (IR) thermographic services, announced today, the appointment of Michael Hall as the Manager of IT & Graphic Design. This group provides internet, computer support and CAD production services to all seven divisions: AITscan™, BuildScanIR™, IRresearcher™, ProcessSCAN™, CompuSCANIR™, ElectriSCAN™ and MechaniSCAN™. SITS provides state-of-the-art infrared testing services to top-500 companies and government agencies in the US, Canada, Central and South America.
Michael’s experience includes 12 years in the IT/Graphic Design field. His education includes extensive training in Graphic Design, Information Technology and Systems Management. This was obtained from his training at Randolph Community College and his experience as an independent consulting contractor. His career began at Douglas Graphics, where he began as a flexographic plate-maker and was promoted to head of the Art Department within a year. He also worked for Digital Solutions, Inc., where he was hired as a prepress operator and eventually took over IT, as well as initiating Web Design and Interactive Media production programs for the company. He returned to Douglas Graphics, as Head of the Production and IT Departments, to assist the company in transitioning from traditional flexographic printing to design and prepess for offset printing. This included computer and systems setup, training and focusing on color reproduction and quality control. Then he was engaged by Gate City Printing as the Prepress/Systems manager to build the CTP (Computer to Plate) and Prepress Departments, workflow and processes. His primary objectives were concentrated on color management, quality, and customer satisfaction. His duties included digital prepress production, digital asset management, server design, ftp, mail, and web server management, as well as networking and systems management.
In addition to overseeing the company’s IT functions, his job will include assisting in promoting the company’s image by interfacing with the Marketing Director. This will include designing materials to increase the corporate image through print, email and internet media. In addition, Mike will be in charge of quality assurance in the processing of reports. “Our company has experienced considerable growth over the course of the last 24 months. The use of infrared thermography as a preventive/predictive maintenance (P/PM) inspection technique is widely recognized as an effective non-destructive tool for checking electrical switchgear, mechanical systems, buildings and roofs. Infrared thermography is also used to improve manufacturing processes and is utilized in R&D applications.
