K J Jathavedan appointed as Associate Vice President by Marlabs Inc.
Bangalore, April 4, 2006: Marlabs Inc., a fast growing provider of technology services and solutions to select verticals, today appointed K.J.Jathavedan as its Associate Vice President (AVP) based in Bangalore reporting to the Head of Global Delivery.

Jathavedan is a SEI-authorized Lead Assessor for CMM and his major focus area will be to implement the CMMi quality model in the organization. Jathavedan will also be responsible for creating various Centers of Excellence within the organization. Prior to joining Marlabs, Jathavedan headed Ernst & Young, Middle East’s offshore development and IT support centre at Trivandrum. Jathavedan brings over 27 years of IT industry experience across numerous global companies to Marlabs which is evolving at a rapid pace. Before that he had a long stint at ISRO/ VSSC at Trivandrum where as an engineer he worked under Dr. A.P.J.Abdul Kalam, who was the then Project Director of SLV-3. He also worked for other major Indian space programs in various capacities as Engineer, Project Manager and Section Head.
