Hopefully Ever After is a love story. This story is centered around two African American middle class professionals, Tony and Vlylee and the people who enriched and influenced their lives.

Tony is a junior attorney at a prestige law firm. He has been at the same law firm for ten years and it has often been said that his job is his longest and most fulfilling relationship in his life. He has been trying to make partner for five of the ten years.
