Artists Kevin Rouse & Deb Sullivan, living and working together in Delray Beach are realizing their dreams. Their gallery, KEVRO Art & Photography Gallery of Delray Beach, is celebrating five years artist-owned. Their poetic art film 'If Only I Were A Tree,' features stunning trees they call living sculpture spanning the landscape of NJ, CA, and Delray Beach Fl. Lake Ida trees, found in their neighborhood Lake Ida Playhouse Park, inspired the film.
"The film is very personal, intimate and moving. 'If Only I Were A Tree,' is a statement of common denominators, using art & nature to express the human condition - suffering. Instead of trying to get away from or hide from disturbing events, we chose to show the beauty & celebrate new beginnings in family."
Kevin Rouse (Kevro) is the director, producer and editor of the film, as well as the artist/photographer of the work that has a starring role.
Kevin's fiance and business partner, Deb Sullivan, wrote & narrated the film. Kevin's brother, Todd Rouse, performs his original score.
