Day at the Dillo to Raise Money for Wakefield Band Programs

Wake Forest, NC - Armadillo Grill is proud to announce ‘Wakefield Bands Spirit Day’, benefiting the Wakefield High School Band Programs, at its Factory location in Wake Forest, North Carolina. The event is scheduled for Tuesday April 4th, 2006. Ten percent (10%) of the entire day’s proceeds will be donated to the Wolverines band boosters.

As Armadillo gets settled into its newest location in Wake Forest, owner Ben Pace expresses how “very important it is to our success and to our overall mission to be connected to the area and to partner with organizations adding value to the community, we are proud to be affiliated with the Wakefield High School Band Programs.”

The Wakefield Band Boosters are ecstatic about the opportunity to have a fundraiser day at Armadillo and booster President Renee Watkins is looking forward to an amazing turnout. “We encourage everyone in the area to come out and eat at Armadillo on Tuesday April 4th, this is a great fundraiser for us and a terrific way to introduce a new partner.” The value of area participation is enormous as Ms. Watkins identifies “the band has a number of expenses throughout the year, that are not covered by the Wake County budget, and events like Spirit Day give our students the opportunity to participate in various band activities.”

Armadillo Grill at the Factory is open for lunch and dinner daily, and provides an excellent alternative to fast food. The a-la-carte menu is highlighted by Armadillo’s famous soft tacos and queso dip, and has just been updated to include Armadillo’s combo meals - ‘Dillo Deals’. The restaurant is located at 1849 S.
